We would never dare urge you to skip leg day here at BarBend. We understand the importance of a strong lower body and encourage you to pump those pistons as much as possible. But when you do so, you should focus on the right parts — namely, your hamstrings.

No matter where you are in your training journey, you’ll eventually come across the concept of bulking. It’s one thing to lean on your regular diet for some glorious gains. It’s another task entirely to pack your nutrition with calories (healthy ones!) for even more muscle.

But bulking can be expensive. You are, after all, technically buying more food. (Hey, the math adds up for us.). And the last thing you want is to bleed your wallet dry while buying all that protein.

From money-saving hacks to the most cost-effective food to buy, we’ve got an all-encompassing breakdown of how to bulk on a budget in the article below.

It’s summertime, so we know a common temptation is afoot: With the sun out, you’ve just gotta flaunt those biceps. And you polish those bad boys with some good old-fashioned dumbbell curls whenever you can. Now is not the time for neglect, folks.

But if you want bigger arms, you might consider hammering out some hammer curls (we are not sorry for the pun). But which curl is better — the standard or the hammer version?

It depends, but we’ve got a position on the key differences, similarities, and benefits of this hammer curl vs. traditional curl debate.
