Special education teacher Teri Gehring only started competitive powerlifting in the spring of 2019 when she was 49 years old. That year, she took first at the United States Powerlifting Association (USPA) Lone Star Shootout in the Masters 45-49/wraps category. And she's still going strong, as evidenced by her latest personal record in the deadlift.
