When it comes to working out your abs, the last thing you should do is leave yourself feeling … hollow. Having ripped abs and a strong core can extend to every aspect of your daily routine, leading to a happier and healthier life. But we get it. Performing crunches, sit-ups, and planks every day can be a little boring.

An abs change of pace would do wonders, and we’ve got a choice for you to consider.

The next time you work your abs out, consider trying the hollow hold position. In our rundown, we discuss how to do this bodyweight-only movement that also teaches proper bracing mechanics and improves posture. Rest assured, you and your abs will feel quite full after trying the hollow hold.

They didn’t win last weekend’s Giants Live Strongman Classic. But Trey Mitchell and Eddie Williams ensured they also didn’t leave London empty-handed.

En route to a fourth-place finish, Mitchell broke the Viking Press World Record with 18 reps of the titular 150-kilogram (330.6 pounds) implement. Meanwhile, before taking home fifth place, the Australian Williams set a new Nicol Stone World Record when he carried the famous unevenly weighed stones an astonishing 31.6 meters.

We’re certain Mitchell and Williams would’ve loved a win. But rewriting the record books is never a bad consolation prize.
