🏋️ NFL star crushes a 600-pound squat

Today is National Health and Happiness with Hypnosis Day. While we're sure hypnotherapy can have wonderful benefits, we're focusing on the health & happiness benefits that come from picking up weights and then putting them back down.

Oh! Today’s edition is brought to you by Organifi Green Juice, with adaptogens and superfoods that make wellness easy and delicious. Use code bb20 for 20% your entire purchase.

The Cleveland Browns' Nick Chubb is one of the NFL's best running backs. A massive squat demonstrates how he gets the strength to bowl through helpless defenders.

As the owner of numerous world records, powerlifter Kristy Hawkins' resume is mostly unassailable. A new mammoth deadlift personal best might soon see her widen the gap between Hawkins and her peers.

To maximize the gains you'll make in the gym, you'll have to optimize your time in the kitchen to match.

Nick Chubb Makes a 610-Pound Squat Look Casual

Whenever the Browns hand the ball off to Nick Chubb, they can rest assured he'll probably do something incredible. The three-time Pro Bowl running back — an accolade given to prolific NFL stars — is one of football's best players. Aside from his instincts as a ball carrier, we now know why Chubb makes defensive players look silly.

He's got impeccable leg strength.

In a recent video posted by the NFL Twitter account, Chubb squats 276.7 kilograms (610 pounds) raw for two reps. Per Pro Football Reference, Chubb weighs 227 pounds, which means this squat is 2.7 times his current body weight.

What's more about this feat, Chubb uses a Tsunami bar. Of course, for our gawking purposes, it lets us see Chubb finish a monstrous squat double with that oh-so-satisfying bar-bend. And yes, it is very satisfying.

After this strength display, heavens help any poor soul forced to tackle the powerful Chubb during the upcoming NFL season. Here's more on this football star absolutely demolishing a powerlifting-caliber squat.

Kristy Hawkins Teases Another Potential World Record

Kristy Hawkins PR deadlift July 2022

If it wasn't clear, World Record lifts are supposed to be difficult. You'd assume an athlete who notches such a lift put themselves through the wringer. If it comes during a training session — where they unofficially surpass their own marks — an assumption of exhaustion should be safe.

But that wasn't the case with powerlifter Kristy Hawkins.

Earlier this month, Hawkins scored a 285-kilogram (628.3-pound) raw deadlift during a training session. Hawkins' lift is a personal record (PR) and 10 kilograms (22.1 pounds) over her World Record of 275 kilograms (606.3 pounds) in the 75-kilogram division.

(Holds hand to listen to earpiece): Our totally real sources are confirming that is exemplary.

Already the owner of the deadlift, squat, and total World Records in her weight class, Hawkins is hungry for more. She hasn't confirmed her next competition yet. But, given her history: it'll likely be a stunning performance.
