Heading into this weekend's Arnold Classic bodybuilding show, most analysts picked Nick Walker to leave Columbus with the surefire victory. But the competition was stiffer than many people thought, and it was clear after Friday's pre-judging that both Samson Dauda and Andrew Jacked posed a serious threat to Walker's chances.

By Saturday night, reality had set in: Dauda was named the winner in a surprising upset that few saw coming. Walker took the runner-up spot, while Jacked came in third. In another twist, two-time Mr. Olympia, Mamdouh "Big Ramy" Elssbiay, only managed a fourth-place finish. Here's how the top 10 shook out:

Amanda Lawrence's Eye-Opening Deadlift

Amanda Lawrence has won three of the last four IPF World titles in the 84-kilogram division, and she hasn't lost a competition since 2019. And if we're to take anything from the powerlifter's latest deadlift, this colossus isn't done absolutely crushing it on lifting platforms.

Last week saw Lawrence finish a staggering 259.9-kilogram (573-pound) raw deadlift during a training session. The pull is just half a kilogram off her all-time World Record of 260.5 kilograms (574.3 pounds), fittingly captured while winning a World Championships.

Lawrence will soon head to England for the 2023 Sheffield Championships. After that, it's about making it four IPF titles in half a decade. We don't know about you, but we wouldn't want to stand in her way.
